Akamai Technologies of Cambridge, Massachusetts has announced its acquisition of Inverse, marking a significant milestone for the PacketFence project and its community.

Akamai operates as a global provider of content delivery, cybersecurity, and cloud services focused on web and internet security. This acquisition brings PacketFence’s network access control capabilities into Akamai’s comprehensive Enterprise security portfolio.
