Anomaly Detection
Version 10 integrates the Fingerbank project to enable automatic detection of unusual network behavior from IoT and medical devices. Key capabilities include:
- Detection of abnormal activity patterns
- Integration with the Security Events module
- Ability to quarantine devices exhibiting suspicious behavior
- Enhanced protection for IoT and medical device networks
Integrated PKI
A built-in public key infrastructure solution will:
- Streamline certificate administration
- Simplify EAP-TLS authentication deployments
- Reduce complexity for organizations implementing certificate-based authentication
GUI Improvements
The graphical interface receives significant enhancements:
- Visual editor for creating filtering rules
- Support for RADIUS, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, and WMI protocols
- Ability to simulate expression evaluations
- Configure switch templates directly from the GUI
Accounting Enhancements
PacketFence v10 gains improved capabilities for:
- Processing large volumes of RADIUS accounting data
